A playful and highly collectible piece from Karl Lagerfeld’s Spring/Summer 2016 Chanel Airlines collection.
Crafted from soft metallic silver lambskin, this elongated Wallet on Chain is distinguished by its oversized interlocking CC appliqué. Inspired by vintage airline insignia, the emblem incorporates wing-like details and graphic bands of blue, white, red and metallic gold.
A long silver-tone chain strap interwoven with matching metallic leather allows the bag to be worn over the shoulder or across the body. The chain can also be tucked inside, transforming the piece into an elegant evening clutch.
The press-stud flap opens to a practical, fully coordinated metallic silver interior with multiple compartments and a secure zipped pocket. Chanel branding is embossed beneath the flap.

CONDITION
Presented in good pre-owned condition, with wear consistent with the delicate nature of metallic lambskin.
There is visible creasing, light rubbing, fine surface scratches and tonal variation across the metallic finish, particularly on the flap, reverse and interior. Minor marks and areas of finish wear are also visible around the edges and chain attachment points.
The colourful CC appliqué remains bright and well defined, the stitching is intact, and the bag retains a good overall structure. The chain and press-stud closure remain functional.
