Originally inspired by Louis Vuitton’s celebrated Noé champagne bag, the Petit Noé offers the same iconic bucket silhouette in a more compact and versatile size.
This vintage example is crafted from the house’s instantly recognisable brown Monogram coated canvas, contrasted with natural vachetta leather around the base, upper edge and adjustable shoulder strap. Louis Vuitton-engraved brass eyelets and a leather drawstring secure the open top while preserving the bag’s relaxed, softly structured shape.
The generous single-compartment interior provides practical everyday storage, while the adjustable strap allows the bag to be carried comfortably over the shoulder. Its rich honey-brown patina and visible signs of age give the piece an appealing vintage character.

Fair to good vintage condition with substantial cosmetic signs of age and use.
The Monogram canvas remains generally well preserved, with visible folding, creasing and some loss of structure but no obvious flaws or tear . The vachetta leather has developed a deep, uneven honey-brown patina and displays water marking, darkening, rubbing, scratches and surface wear.
The leather base shows widespread staining, discolouration, scuffs, pressure marks and heavier wear around the edges and corners. The shoulder strap, upper trim and drawstring show ageing, dryness, darkening and wear from regular handling. The metal eyelets and buckles have scratches, tarnishing and an aged patina.
The textile interior has extensive visible staining, including dark spots, liquid marks, discolouration, dust and general signs of prolonged use. Professional interior cleaning may improve its presentation, although complete removal of the staining cannot be guaranteed.
